k-12/AMC Students

Just starting out on your mathematical journey? You can never be too young to ponder problems in mathematics, and there are several opportunities for K-12 students to do just that. From the AMC to the AIME to the USAMO, there are several competitions to whet your problem-solving appetite.

Undergrad Students

Active involvement by undergraduate students is vital to the MAA. Perhaps an article in Math Horizons inspires you to do original research with a professor. Or your talk at our Spring conference leads to a collaboration with your future graduate school advisor. Or your team wins some cash at our annual student team competition! The MAA can help you build life-long mathematical relationships.

Grad Students

The MAA offers several opportunities for graduate students to publish and present their research, from Mathematics Magazine, The College Math Journal, and the Monthly, to our Fall and Spring conferences. The MAA can help you transition from student to professional mathematician.
