Our History

The first meeting of the North Central Section was December 1, 1916, when 23 teachers of mathematics attended and unanimously voted to form a Minnesota section. Officers elected were President G.N. Bauer (University of Minnesota, Twin Cities), Secretary Treasurer W.D. Reeve (University of Minnesota, Twin Cities), and Member at large C.N. Gingrich (Carleton College).
